Pendant with two detailed snakes biting their tails, so-called ouroboros

The snake eating its own tail is one of the world's oldest symbols. It is depicted on the tomb of the Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun from the 14th century BC.

During the Roman Empire, it often appeared on magical talismans and symbolized the cyclical nature of the year.

“Ouroboros” comes from the Greek and means “tail-eater.” It eats its own tail to sustain its own life in an endless cycle of renewal.

Pendant: surgical steel, 39x39mm.

Chain: box link, width 3mm.
Choose between 45, 50, 55 or 60cm.
