The Vikings and the Narwhal:
When the Vikings sailed to Greenland in the 11th century, they discovered the narwhal. It has a long, pointed and spiral-shaped tooth in the upper jaw that looks like a horn. It is not known who came up with the idea, but for about 500 years the Vikings sold "unicorn horns" to Europe and earned enormous sums from them. A horn from a unicorn cost as much as a castle, and England's Queen Elizabeth I kept a diamond-encrusted horn with her crown jewels.
Only in the 16th century, when people other than the Scandinavians made it to Greenland, was the hoax discovered.
Crystals are created by nature and can therefore vary in color and shape. Keep in mind that your crystal may not look exactly like the one in the picture. Small cracks and grooves may occur and do not mean that it is damaged but unique.
