Necklace made entirely of stainless steel with the bind rune for Völva.
Völva, 'völr', means the staff bearer. She was a fortune teller and sajder who was highly respected during the Viking Age. She could wander freely without risk of harm and when she came to a farm, the high seat was given to her as only the king was above her in rank.
The Völvan's staff was considered to have magical properties and she was the Vikings' most important link to the gods and the spirit world. She could see the future and the past, cure diseases, influence the weather and bring good luck. Therefore, she was treated as a queen by them.
