Stainless steel necklace with bear paw and Celtic knots

The pendant is double-sided and can be worn either way.
The Berserker was a special elite and combatant who attacked his opponent with the strength and fury of a bear. The Berserker was at his best when fighting alone and was therefore often used as a bodyguard.
The word berserk means "man dressed in bear skin", björn-särk and before fighting in a group they used to provoke each other dressed in bear or wolf skins to roar like wild animals during the fight and scare their enemies. The word 'champion' can also be derived from the berserkers as they were often deployed in the front line during battle.
They are said to have sworn allegiance to Odin and were therefore also called Odin's warriors. A berserker fought with the enemy until they, or they themselves, died.
